Z-Flock 6.0 03/05/2010
Z-Flock 6.0 has concluded and was a great success.
Scott Bland led an army of experienced load organisers through a fun week of flying, giving the flyers who attended the event a broad choice in flying styles.
Docked formations, fast flocks, bigways, long solos and 3D flocks amongst those.
Most impressive was the docked flying. With Scott Bland and 'Purple' Mike leading on their belly and back, wearing their trusty Phantoms.
The new Stealth2 was also available for demo, and had several people touch 3 minutes of freefall on their first flight.
Zflock also marked the sad occasion of being the first time the event was run since the passing of Robert Jones.
Kathy stood tall, and in the closing speech she gave together with Scotty Burns, thanked everyone for helping build the event over the years.
We hope to continue the Zflock tradition for many years to come, in memory of the man who helped build the boogie into one of the best wingsuit events in the USA.
The local skyflying crew presented a memorial plaque, to immortalize the man who's humor, dedication and skills inspire us to this very day!
Thank you all for a wonderful time, and see you again next year!
